Japan company Sharp is one of the 8 largest Japan producers of cell phones. Almost 80% of Sharp phones are sold in Japan home market. Sharp Solar Hybrid SH6230C will be sold outside the country in order to expand the company’s footprint at global market. Initially the novelty was oriented to Chinese market.
Sharp Solar Hybrid SH6230C is the first Japan mobile phone equipped with a solar cell module, which will be exported. The phone can be charged even if there is no a socket within easy reach. The SH6230C is equipped also with large 2.9-inch LCD screen, and a 5-megapixel autofocus camera. Colors are blue and white. The price is about $500.
